The intersections of such floors with walls shall have a smooth, hard, nonabsorbent vertical base that extends upward onto the walls not less than 4 inches. 2018 1209.2.2 Walls and partitions. Walls and partitions within 2 feet of service sinks, urinals and water closets shall have a smooth, hard, nonabsorbent surface, to a height of not less than 4 feet above the floor, and except for structural elements, the materials used in such walls shall be of a type that is not adversely affected by moisture. 11-29-22 AN contractor is putting curbs down without a proof roll after a rain of 1”. I don’t think that the base is in the best condition to put cubs down and needs to dry out more. Josh Wilson/ owner of the property said he will send a email stating that he is taking full responsibility for putting the curbs down even though the city recommended not to put them down at this time 11-29-22 AN. Curbs also need to be cover with blankets at least 3 to 7 days 11-29-22 AN 5pm most of the curbs are down and crew is finishing up putting the blankets down to protect the curbs 12-1-22 AN crew formed up the radius of the curbs 12-5-22 AN. Some of the radius are poured. Also they are grading the approach and handicap parking area to pour 4-18-24 NS Site visited and this parking lot was complete before I was on this job. it appears it has passed
