9/10/21 Friday Contractor installed approximately (56’ of 6” )PVC 2/45 deg bends coming out the building with 1’ between them, then 24’ then a 45 deg bend 32’ then another 45 deg bend 9/9/21 Thursday. The Backflow Vault was installed and 28’ of 6” PVC fire line pipe laid to Backflow Vault then a piece out the backside of the Vault. Contractor poured backing blocks on 45 deg bends & straddle block with mega lug on the pipe coming out of the backside that will connect to the existing 8”. Also there is a 6”X6” Tee w/ (backing block) for fire hydrant located approximately 6’ West of Backflow Vault. Collars for vault was poured. 9/14/21 Tuesday (Breit Construction) Contractor installed approximately 35’ of 6” PVC fire line from 90 deg to the existing 8” water line tie done with a 6”x8” Tee was installed and 2/8” sleeve ( 30” from center tee to center of sleeves) on existing main. Water main was test shut by Lee’s Summits Water Department on 9/13/21. Note: Contractor was able to tie-in because of an unmarked Backflow Preventer that was buried where the new entrance is to be constructed. It allowed the contractor to isolate main with “8 valve on the property for tie-in with out shutting down service to any costumers 9/13/21 Monday. The hydrant to be removed does require that one costumer be out but they where notified that the water will be off for approximately 3hours starting at 12:00PM today. Backflow Preventer Lid will need to be raise to grade for new parking lot construction. The contractors Engineer and or Developer will ensure this information will be update to show actual Water Service utilities on site. See C1.0 details for Private Water Line extension For future Lots. 6”x”8 tee was installed and 8” sleeve 32” center to center to the South and a 8” 90 deg bend 3’ to the North of same 6”x8” tee. 9/15/21 Wednesday (Breit Construction) Private Water Line Extension as-per project plan C1.0 off newly installed 6”x8” tee. Contractor installed approximately 65’ of 6” PVC water main. 9/20/21 Monday (Breit Construction) Contractor chlorinated the Private Water Line Extension @ 2:00PM. 9/21/21 Tuesday (Breit Construction) Contractor de-chlorinated the Private Water Line Extension @ 3:00PM.
