New buildings shall have approved radio coverage for emergency responders within the building based on the existing coverage levels of the public safety communication sys-tems utilized by the jurisdiction, measured at the exterior of the building. This section shall not require improvement of the existing public safety communication systems. 510.4 Technical requirements. Systems, components and equipment required to provide the emergency responder radio coverage system shall comply with Sections 510.4.1 through 510.4.2.8. 510.4.1 Emergency responder communication enhancement system signal strength. The building shall be considered to have acceptable emergency responder communications enhancement system coverage when signal strength measurements in 95 percent of all areas on each floor of the building meet the signal strength requirements in Sections 510.4.1.1 through 510.4.1.3. 510.4.1.1 Minimum signal strength into the building. The minimum inbound signal strength shall be sufficient to provide usable voice communications throughout the coverage area as specified by the fire code official. The inbound signal level shall be sufficient to provide not less than a Delivered Audio Quality (DAQ) of 3.0 or an equivalent Signal-to-Interference- Plus-Noise Ratio (SINR) applicable to the technology for either analog or digital signals. 510.4.1.2 Minimum signal strength out of the building. The minimum outbound signal strength shall be sufficient to provide usable voice communications throughout the coverage area as specified by the fire code official. The outbound signal level shall be sufficient to provide not less than a DAQ of 3.0 or an equivalent SINR applicable to the technology for either analog or digital signals. 510.4.1.3 System performance. Signal strength shall be sufficient to meet the requirements of the applications being utilized by public safety for emergency operations through the coverage area as specified by the fire code official in Section 510.4.2.2. The manhole 18% grading was too great and modification are needed. Drawing will be submitted to Lee’s Summit Engineerings. Final approval of what is to be constructed will be made when contractor excavate existing MH.

10/06/22 Thursday JMJ ( Central Plumbing Construction ) Approximately 300’ of SDR-26 sanitary pipe on the South running East to West. This line was installed sometime last week. Today there was an onsite meeting about MH1-1 with Water, Kaeden ,Central Plumbing, Development Services ( Steve Robbins & John Jackson) about the install of the manhole. The manhole 18% grading was too great and modification are needed. Drawing will be submitted to Lee’s Summit Engineerings. Final approval of what is to be constructed will be made when contractor excavate existing MH. 10/10/22 Monday JMJ ( Central Plumbing Construction ) Contractor exposed existing manhole so it can be view by all concern parties tomorrow morning at site. 10/27/22 Thursday JMJ (Central Plumbing Construction ) Removed existing (brick) manhole down to the base and replaced.12” sanitary sewer (clay) with 12” SDR-26 approximately 40’. Transitioning from clay to 12” SDR-26 in and out with (Hard-Back Fernco adapter) for the newly installed manhole. Pump-around hoses were need because of the continual large volume of flow from the existing sewer main. How or what will the City of Lee’s Summit grandfather in and where & when future installation of gas lines or made. 05/25/23 Thursday JMJ (GC-Kadean) ( Fenix - Concrete Work ) I was inform around 3:30PM Tuesday 05/23/23 that contractor was pouring parking lot area connected to the North of building #1 . Do to the disconnect in communication the gravel subgrade was not observed by Development Field Inspection. The 9" of concrete was poured for the Northeast side of building and the Northwest side of building is next. Inspector talked with the third party inspector Olsson and all compaction test of subgrade was satisfactory. 06/07/23 Wednesday JMJ ( Fenix ) Contractor has poured concrete for dock area lot approximately 50'X450' Southside of building #1, Olsson is the third party responsible for all inspection. Olsson has been doing all certified pre and post inspection. I will talk to Olsson about passing on information to inspector & City of Lee's Summit. 06/08/23 Thursday JMJ (GC-Kadean) ( Fenix - Concrete Work ) Contractor continue a portion pour dock / driveway to the Southwest of Bld #1.I with Kevin of Kadean (GC) and verfied Olsson has been collecting cylinder for test break for all the concrete being poured.

Guidelines For Electronically Submitting Documents:

  • Submitted documents should be under 100MB in size.
  • Accepted file extensions:
    • pdf, jpg, xls, doc, xlsx, docx, dwg
  • All plans shall be to scale.
  • Recommended naming conventions:
    • Keep filename consistent.
    • Avoid the use of non-friendly filenames. (ex. k9dk38fj3.pdf)
    • Avoid inappropriate language in filenames.
  • Submitted documents will be stamped at the conclusion of the review.
    • The stamp will be placed in the upper right hand corner of the document. It is recommeded that this area, to the extent possible, be left blank so that no information is lost when the the stamp is applied.
