6-14-23 DP. Between Nick and myself we have been out here multiple times today and they are still not ready. Talked to the foreman on site and he said they are going to push it to next week. Told them to recall in for a pre pour inspection when ready. 1-23-24 NS Site visited, no activity due to weather 2-2-24 DW is formed to city specs. Aggregate is being compacted monday morning before pour. Will stop by first thing and recheck 5-13-24 NS I received a phone call about the erosion control and I will not be doing a final inspection until erosion control is fixed and cleaned up. 9-24-24 NS Driveway and Sidewalk pass.

-Deck: provide a graspable handrail no wider than 3.5". You can install a 2x2 as a handrail and return both ends to the newel posts; the ledger board shall be fastened into the floor rim band per code; Cedar posts cannot be buried into soil; Provide hanger support for joists. Google Johnson County Deck Build Guideline. This freely available document will show you how to properly attach deck beam to each post **Install two 1/2” through bolts connection of beam to each supporting post; or approved equivalent connection **Nail all hangers. A hanger or approved device is required at each joist connection to ledger board **Cedar posts cannot be buried. Expose posts **A graspable, continuous, and uninterrupted handrail with maximum width of 3.5” shall be installed on one side of stair. Return both ends to newel posts -Splash blocks missing **Provide splash blocks that can direct downspout water min 36” away from building
