After pumping the water down, the valve wasn't installed properly. I had them add a megalug on the pipe and megalug on the valve. Then they duckbilled these together. After a valve they installed a 8" 90* and 1 stick of 8" ductile that runs to the south. This extension will be used for the 4 taps that is needed.

7-25-23 DP. Contractor chlorinated the stick of pipe that was added. 7-26-23 DP. Stick of pipe was flushed. Will be ready for taps after 7:30 am tomorrow. No samples or pressure testing needed with it being 1 stick of pipe.

These will be required to be taps. 7-19-23 DP. Contractor dug down to find the 8" stub that goes across to Lot 5. When they removed the dirt the valve slipped off causing a water break. Contractor was trying to form ADA ramp on the Northeast side of the building. The sidewalk called for it to turn straight west after the "turn around area" But nothing could be in compliance with original design due to existing curb and a light pole base. Since the Ramp was going straight through I allowed them to just pour the ramp and where they turn to go back west, they are putting a 4'x4' turn around. This allows everything to stay in compliance.

Crew did a proof roll on the small area at the very from of the building. CFS was on site and passed the proof roll. I was not as confident in the proof roll passing. There were some minor ruts with an average of 3". I asked contractor to reroll the aggregate with their asphalt rollers before laying asphalt. I also discouraged laying asphalt on the area until it was a little more solid. It is a private lot and they were going to lay the asphalt anyway. Chris with ARC was aware of my concern. 11-22-23 DP. TCO issued. The only thing holding them up from a final on my end are two temp curbs. Contractor is putting barricards up inplace of the temp curbs until temps come up enough for asphalt company to get the curbs in place. Once the temp curbs are in place, I'll be good for final on the Engineering side of things. 12-7-23 DP. Final passed for engineering. Temp curb was put in yesterday.
