Where equipment requiring access or appliances are located on an elevated structure or the roof of a building such that personnel will have to climb higher than 16 feet above grade to access such equipment or appliances, an interior or exterior means of access shall be provided. Such access shall not require climbing over obstructions greater than 30 inches in height or walking on roofs having a slope greater than 4 units vertical in 12 units horizontal. Such access shall not require the use of portable ladders. Where access involves climbing over parapet walls, the height shall be measured to the top of the parapet wall. Permanent ladders installed to provide the required access shall comply with the following minimum design criteria: 1. 12/07/23 Thursday JMJ ( Capital Builders ) Contractor installed storm inlet on the Northwest side of the project. 12/11/23 Monday JMJ ( Capital Builders ) Contractor continued to excavate for storm line. 12/12/23 Tuesday JMJ ( Capital Builders ) Contractor completed the installation of HDPE storm line on the North side of building project as-per project plans. Approximately 100' of 18" HDPE storm line. 11/30/23 Thursday JMJ Contractor installed floor for backflow vault 11/29/23 Wednesday Today contractor began boring and installation of PVC encasement for the relocation of fire hydrant. Encasement under Schlotzsky's driveway entrance. 12/04/23 Monday JMJ Contractor plans to continue the installation of 6" PVC water main through PVC encasement with boots at each ends. Contractor is trying to relocate hydrant. Hydrant will be out of service until new fire and water main are installed. 12/05/23 Tuesday JMJ Contractor continued the construction of 6" water as-per plan valve for hydrant was shut and will be used to separate exist water line from newly installed. 12/07/23 Thursday JMJ (Capital Builders) Contractor installed the relocated hydrant as-per plan and the water 100' of 6" PVC. A bag was place over hydrant because it is not in service until completion and acceptance of water line. 12/15/23 Friday JMJ (Capital Builders) Contractor restarted the construction of fire main and poured backing blocks behind fire hydrant, & 6X6 Tee. The contractor backfilled 6" fire main also contractor began installation of backflow valves. 12/20/23 Wednesday JMJ (Capital Builders) Contractor installed water line all the way into vault yesterday and sent pictures for verification.

On Monday Lee's Summit Water correct a leak that appeared to be coming out of the thread portion of the tap. Also construction cork was removed and replaced with plug on the existing line and excavation was backfilled. 02/26/24 Tuesday JMJ (Capital Builders) Contractor installed copper line from meter to building yesterday. Copper line from water main to meter was done last week.

Also construction cork was removed and replaced with plug on the existing line and excavation was backfilled.
