They will begin installing basin according to plans soon. 04/07/22 (MH Construction) Contractor was able to continued work of grading site and creating basins. Work was suspended yesterday due to the rainy weather conditions. 04/08/22 (MH Construction) Contractor continued excavation of site as per plans. 04/11/22 (MH Construction) Contractor continued to excavation of site as per plans. 04/05/22 Tuesday B&H Construction The contractor called to inform me that they had snagged an Overhead Line. Preliminary investigation leans towards it being a communication line. Contractor called the City of Lee’s Summit and a City Right-A-Way agent came out for investigation. Right of Way inspector will continue research to find out what utilities company the expansion line belongs to inform them of the incident at NW Main Street & NW Tudor Road. 04/07/22 Thursday B&H Construction Right of Way Inspector Nick Ross found out that the snagged communication line was Time Warner’s 04/06/22 Wednesday. 05/02/22 Monday No work due to rain. 05/09/22 Contractor continued grading site. 06/28/22 Tuesday Met with Steve of Central Plumbing about the up coming installation of storm line on city street. Contractor will use rock and AB3 on street crossing. Note: Changes in soil textures occur often on this site. I talked with Olsson about testing results for underground utilities.

I talked with Paul Bersbach of KADEAN about the silt fencing issue and the fencing contractor is going to be on site to correct all issues. I toured the site and note several area effected by the inclement weather conditions. 05/06/2022 Friday (HB Const./KADEAN) Silting fencing still not corrected conditions of site makes it (severely saturation grounds ) difficult to reach areas. The weekend will dry out site condition to make the appropriate corrections.

The other two 8” fire line shaft or on the Eastside of building structure. Contractor installed one piece of pipe and 90 deg bend with restraints and piping to extend above the floor level of structure.

Contractor called the City of Lee’s Summit and a City Right-A-Way agent came out for investigation. Contractor will continue to construct storm sewer drain. Wingwall for the RCB crossing was install on 12/07/22 Wednesday. 12/09/22 Friday JMJ ( Central Plumbing - Steve ) Contractor continued installation of 12’X8’ RCB storm drain see pg 32 of 105. Storm Line B will feed into this main truck. 12/12/22 Monday JMJ ( Central Plumbing-Steve ) ( Olsson - Engineer Luke Moore ) Olsson the third party engineer contractor came on site to diagnose the problems of gaps in the 12’X8’ sections throughout the 20 plus pieces ( 4ft to 5ft section pieces )that were constructed. Olsson as suggested that that the primary contractor Kadean call the manufacturer and have them come onsite to also see the issue gap issues that will cause major infiltration. Olsson as suggested that that the primary contractor Kadean call the manufacturer and have them come onsite to also see the issue gap issues that will cause major infiltration. ( Forterra ) 12/15/22 Thursday JMJ ( Central Plumbing-Steve ) Due to the numbers sections not falling into the acceptable tolerance at the connecting points , the storm line was pulled apart and will be regrade and machine equipment will be used to fasten them together (Tugger/ a come along ). 12/16/22 Friday JMJ ( Central Plumbing - Steve ) Contractor continues to reconstruct 12’X8’ Storm Line with (Tugger) joints 3 and 10 are the only section out of tolerance. Olsson as suggested that that the primary contractor Kadean call the manufacturer and have them come onsite to also see the issue gap issues that will cause major infiltration. I talked with Paul Bersbach of KADEAN about the silt fencing issue and the fencing contractor is going to be on site to correct all issues. I toured the site and note several area effected by the inclement weather conditions.

03/09/23 Thursday JMJ Call reported that contractor trucks that are entering and exiting site are leaving mud on adjacent street. I talked with the contractor about the clean up. As-built will reflect changes in installation of 11.25 deg bends. 7-26-22 AN. Spoke with Steve from central plumbing. Water main and all T,s have no valves on the plans . Central plumbing is going to call their engineers to revise the plans. 08/10/22 Wednesday JMJ ( Central Plumbing/Steve ) Contractor return to work site today valves were on 12” main ever 500’ . The contractor was able to locate the newly install water main pipe. 12” gate valve, 12”x12”x10” tee, and 12”x12”x4” tee & 4” gate valve was installed. Contractor installed approximately 40’ of water pipe. 08/11/22 Thursday JMJ ( Central Plumbing/Steve ) The contractor has continued to install 12” water main from Sta. 19+70 approximately. The city will tap line at a later date when contractor is ready for disinfection.
