General Comment Concerning Energy Dissipation at the End of Detention Tract E: There is concern the rip rap shown at the discharge point for this detention basin is inadequate. This is especially concerning given the proximity to an existing developed subdivision. Please explore additional measures to ensure there is appropriate energy dissipation measures installed at this location. Supercritical flows at this location would be better managed with a more robust method for energy dissipation, and there are methods utilized by the Federal Highway Administration that have been field-tested, and should be considered for this project.
