Part of these plans include the "private" sanitary sewer which John Knox Village is going to take over from the City. The portion of the line that John Knox will take over were either too close to buldings or too deep, and hence, Water Utilities (i.e., Jeff Thorn) approved the concept of allowing a portion of the sanitary line to revert to "private" status (i.e., John Knox will maintain them). We asked that the public and private sanitary sewer be included on one (1) plan set since this was a "special case". Normally, private sanitary sewer lines would not be included in a public plan set.
