: John Knox Village Meadows - Public and Private Sanitary Sewer and Water Line Engineering Plans

: Part of these plans include the "private" sanitary sewer which John Knox Village is going to take over from the City. The portion of the line that John Knox will take over were either too close to buldings or too deep, and hence, Water Utilities (i.e., Jeff Thorn) approved the concept of allowing a portion of the sanitary line to revert to "private" status (i.e., John Knox will maintain them). We asked that the public and private sanitary sewer be included on one (1) plan set since this was a "special case". Normally, private sanitary sewer lines would not be included in a public plan set.

Effective July 1, 2025, a Parks Impact Fee on new development went into effect. The fee, $250.00 per bedroom with a cap of four bedrooms per living unit on residential projects and a $0.20 pre gross square foot area on non-residential projects will be required prior to issuance of the building permit.
