The stormbox for 1-2 has an opening that is supose to connect to the lot next door to this one, they have a board installed as of now blocking the hole, for now this is good, the contractors told me they will be getting a permit for the lot next door and it will tie into this storm box. I let the contractor know that we will try to work with them on this but it may effect substantial completion if they do not have a permit for the lot next door.

INSPECTION FAILED Upon arrival meter was buried. Inspectors John DiMauro and Marquelle Williams asked Chad Anderson to uncover entire installed meter area. There was a splice approx. 6ft from meter well on the commercial building side of the meter. The City of Lees Summits standard detail for water meters states there should be splice free copper line for 10ft from meter well.

JULY 24, 2019 INSPECTION PASSED At approx. 4:30pm, Steve Robbins (FEI Supervisor) talked with Jeff Thorn of Lees Summit water department. Steve informed Jeff that Newberry Lot 295 was spliced in 6ft from the meter well on the commercial building side of the building. Jeff Thorn made an exception from the spec of no splice shall be made within 10ft from the meter well.

AUGUST 12, 2019 The storm box for 1-2 has an opening that is suppose to connect to the lot next door to this one. The lot next to this one never got a permit, so now contractors have to fix this issue. The temporary board the contractors have installed blocking the hole has been removed. Inspector witnessed crews installing rebar with apoxy and crews are pouring concrete 8/12/19 to cover this hole.
