During the public hearings on recent applications for carwashes the Planning Commission and City Council received concerns from the public regarding the noise produced by the vacuums. These concerns resulted in a lengthy conversation at the public hearing and eventually a delay in the approval process. Knowing this is a concern for the public and the Governing Body please provide information regarding the specific vacuums being proposed. The information should include the total dB levels at the vacuum and at the property line. Please also include information on any mitigation efforts used to reduce the noise that leaves the site.
