On Tuesday, 4-26-2020. Redford Excavating completed laterals for line 33 between MH# 3-3 & 3-4. Crew #2 worked on line #4 install aging MH#4-1 and completed lateral between MH#4-1 and #3-3 and compacted. On Thursday, 4-29-2021. Redford Excavating resumed Sanitary Sewer installation. Contractor installed MH #3-2 and laterals on the south side of main between MH #3-6 and #3-7. Back fill was placed over lines.

On Wednesday, 5-12-2021. Redford Excavating began installation of the Storm Sewer system. The contractor started at structure CI 1-1, 1-2 and 1-3. Contractor installed approx 170LF of 36” HDPE pipe. And back filled. JJACKSON On Friday, 5-21-2021. Redford Excavating installed CI 2-3 & 2-4 and storm pipe from 2-2 to approximately ten foot short of where structure 2-5 will be installed. On Monday, 5-24-2021. Redford Excavating set storm structure 1-5 and began pipe installation. CI 3-1 & 3-2 were installed along with the 18” HDPE storm pipe. On Tuesday, 5-25-2021. Redford Excavating resumed storm sewer installation. Contractor pour concrete inverts. Also installed storm sewer for pipe between CI 3-1 and CI 3-2. On Monday, 6-01-2021. Redford Excavating resumed Storm Sewer Installation setting structure 6-1, and 6-2 including approx 200LF of 18” HDPE Pipe. Contractor also set structure 1-8 & 1-9 CI’s on line #1. Contractor also placed 155LF of 18” pipe. On Wednesday, 6-02-2021. Redford Excavating resumed storm sewer installation. Contractor placed structures MH 4-3, FI 4-5, 4-4 on line (4). Line (3) CI 2-5, 2-6 and all pipe in between all structures and backfilled except around boxes where inverts and dog houses need to be poured.

On Thursday, 6-10-2021. Redford Excavating sewer testing crew and I performed all necessary testing on sanitary sewers. Contractor performed Manderl, pipe air testing and Man Hole vacuum testing. On Monday, 7-12-2021. Spalding and I completed a sub-grade proof roll for the placement of rock subgrade and it passed city standards. 7/23/21 Friday ( Field Inspector- John M. Jackson) Proof Roll for rock passed.

7/24/21 Saturday (Field Inspector John M. Jackson) Contractor (Superior Bowen Paving Super) began installing base asphalt approximately 4” depth onsite. Talked with Rhett Klinksick of (SB) about the arrival of third party testing for base asphalt. Third party testing contractor CMTE arrived onsite, and testing density have been good. Contractor stopped asphalt paving around 6:20PM, they resume on Monday 7/26/21. The entrance street to project will need base asphalt. Then (SB) will be able to start with surface asphalt. I talked with Rhett Klinksick of (SB) about the Tacking between the base & surface asphalt, he assured me that will have that done. On Monday, 7-26-2021. Superior-Bowen completed Base asphalt and installed all surface pavement for project.

On Wednesday, 8-11-2021, Redford Excavating worked installing the water line at the entrance of the project and contractor put together the 12” valves for the 12” main tie-in for tomorrow. The lone property that would have been affected was notified of the shut. On Thursday, 8-12-2021. The contractor completed both main tap and restored the water main back by 11;00 am. Water Services came out to assist with restoring the water in service.

On Monday, 8- 16-2021. Red Ford Excavating completed Pressure testing for the 8”water line. 175 pounds of Pressure was placed into the water line for 4 hours and held the Pressure for the time limit passing the test . Red Ford Excavating performed the chlorination of water line. On Tuesday, 8-17-2021. Red Ford Excavating D —Chlorinated water line and flushed water line. On Wednesday, 8-18-2021. Red Ford Excavating provided water sample for (3) locations and were taken to Keystone lab. On Friday, 8-20-2021. Test results for water sample (1) came back and failed location #1. Contractor taking sample again! Diana Johnson took the sample to Keystone Lab. On Tuesday, 9-8-2021 test results for water sample (1) came back and passed. On Wednesday, 9-9-2021 test results for water sample (2) came back and passed.
