Beemer Construction is on site continuing the SS line A & B install. The crew cored into the existing MH 60-191 and set two sticks of the 8” sewer line on line B. The crew also ran the service line for lot 155. The crew plans to pour the trench check tomorrow. The other crew is continuing the Line A install and has laid approx 50’ ft of the 8”in main. The crew set the Wye’s and vertical risers for lots 154 & 165. Photos of the work are uploaded.

John DiMauro 10/8/2020 9:48 AM I observed the air test for SS sewer lines A & B. The results are as follows. Line B: 7:34 min test. Line dropped from 4psi to 3.75psi. Test Passed. Line A: MH A-2 to MH A-1 held at 3.75psi with for 7:34 min with no drop. Test Passed. MH A-1 to Existing MH 60-191 test for 7:34 min. Psi drop from 3.75 to 3.0psi. Test Passed.

John DiMauro 10/8/2020 11:24 AM I observed the mandrel test for both SS lines A & B. The mandrel pulled through both lines with little deflection. The mandrel got hung up at the the inverts for each of the new manholes but was able to be pulled through with additional effort. The crew plans to grind a little of the excess concrete to allow for a smoother transition from the line to the manholes. Test Passed.

John DiMauro 10/8/2020 1:26 PM I observed the vacuum tests for the new manholes on SS lines A & B. MH A-1: 10.5’ ft deep. There was a drop from 10” to 9.25” during the 2.5 min test. Test Passed. MH A-2: 10.0’ ft deep. MH held a vacuum of 10” for 2 min with no drop. Test Passed. MH B-1: 10’ ft deep. MH held a vacuum of 10” for 2 min with no drop. Test Passed.
