SIGNAGE. The two (2) proposed wall signs comply with the sign regulations for the PI (Planned Industrial) zoning district. However, the proposed auto repair business requires going through a 3-month public hearing process in order to gain approval of a special use permit in order to allow the business to operate at this location. Staff cannot issue approval of the sign permits until such time as the special use permit process is completed to determine if a special use permit is granted to allow the operation of the auto repair business. Until such time as final action is taken on the special use permit application, the status of the sign permit application will be "Rejected". If and when the special use permit application is approved, the status will be changed to "Approved", at which time the $200 permit fee can be paid and the permit issued.
