DE C&O #01 Eng Plans – FDP/PDP

All required engineering plans and studies, including water lines, sanitary sewers, storm drainage, streets and erosion and sediment control shall be submitted along with the final development plan. All public infrastructure must be substantially complete, prior to the issuance of any certificates of occupancy.

DE C&O #03 Eng & Insp Fees

All Engineering Plan Review and Inspection Fees shall be paid prior to approval of the associated engineering plans and prior to the issuance of any site development permits or the start of construction (excluding land disturbance permit).

DE Future Repair Work

Please be aware that any future repair work to public infrastructure (e.g., water main repair, sanitary sewer repair, storm sewer repair, etc.) within public easements will not necessarily include the repair of pavement, curbing, landscaping, or other private improvements which are located within the easement.

DE Engineers Estimate

The Engineer’s Estimate of Probable Construction Costs has been accepted for this project, and the Engineering Plan Review and Inspection Fee (which is calculated as 3% of the total infrastructure cost plus a water test inspection fee(s)), and the water tap and meter setup fee have been included. These must be paid prior to the issuance of an infrastructure permit and/or the final processing of a building permit. $578.10

DE Contact Field Eng. Inspector

Prior to the commencement of any construction activities, the Contractor shall contact Field Engineering Inspections at (816) 969-1200 to coordinate a preconstruction meeting / conference with the assigned Field Engineering Inspector.

Please submit a signed and sealed Engineer’s Estimate of Probable Construction Cost.

Revise the sewer detail to show the correct size of the receiving pipe.

Submit an Engineer’s Estimate of Probable Construction Cost.

Revise sheets for the City of Lee’s Summit and remove references to KCMO.

Please add the following notes: - All construction shall follow the City of Lee's Summit Design and Construction Manual as adopted by Ordinance 5813. Where discrepancies exist between these plans and the Design and Construction Manual, the Design and Construction Manual shall prevail. - The contractor shall contact the City’s Development Services Engineering Inspection to schedule a pre-construction meeting with a Field Engineering Inspector prior to any land disturbance work at (816) 969-1200.

Label the existing sanitary sewer line on the plan view and correct the sanitary sewer label on the profile, which is currently labeled as waterline. Label connection type as a cut-in wye. Pipe material must be SDR26 PVC. Show the two separate services tying into a single connection.
