Lee's Summit

The City requirements of drop through a structure at MH A-1 and slope of sewer main between MHs B-1 & B-2 are not being met. Please provide an explanation for these reductions and propose a resolution.

Please revise the Engineer’s Certification to include all required as previously provided. Be sure to cross out the appropriate option at the end of the certification’s first sentence to identify how the information was obtained.

Please revise the off-site sanitary easement to a minimum of 2 feet wide for every foot of trench depth as required by Design and Construction Manual Section 6501.L.c. Submit a draft version of this easement for review. The easement will need to be recorded prior to issuance of Substantial Completion for the project.

Revise the Total Cost, it appears that the last two items aren't included. When resubmitting, make sure the estimate is signed/sealed.

General: • Revise the project name to match the Townhomes plat name in the project title on the cover sheet and in the title block on each sheet. • Show and label the proposed easement outside of the plat boundary throughout the plan set. Submit a draft of the off-site easement for review. The easement will need to be recorded prior to issuance of Substantial Completion of the project.

Sheet C.400: • Include a Summary of Quantities table. • Include a vicinity map that shows and labels nearby streets. • Include FEMA and Oil/Gas Well notes. • Remove the approval signature block for the City. A stamp will be provided electronically when approved.

Sheets C.402-C.403: • Revise the compacted fill hatching extend to an elevation 18” above the top of the pipe, and only in areas where existing grade is not a minimum of 18” above the top of the pipe. Line A does not have any areas that will require compacted fill. • The Line B Sewer Stub Table references the wrong lots. Please revise.

Estimate: Add an item for the 2 proposed connections to the existing sanitary sewer. Please sign/seal the revised estimate.

Sheet C.400: • KCP&L is now Evergy. Please update the plan set. • Sanitary Sewer Note 6 indicates that 3’ of compacted fill be placed prior to trenching. This exceeds the 18” required by the City, which is fine. I just wanted to point it out.

Sheet C.401: Revise the line weight of the existing water main that will be removed, to match other existing infrastructure.

Sheet C.402: Revise the Line A proposed MHs so that the top elevations matches the proposed grade.

Sheet C.403: • Include the following note: “Compacted Fill shall be placed to a minimum X” above the top of the pipe prior to installation.” Revise “X” to match Sanitary Sewer Note 6 on Sheet C.400. • Show and label the limits of the compacted fill placement in the Profile view. Use hatching for clarity.
