Public Works will support the vacation of the existing easement along the lot lines, but will not support the vacation of the smaller easement shown on Sheet 2 of 2. Further investigation revealed that the existing sanitary sewer main is 27" in diameter along the street frontage, and sewer stubs cannot be connected to sewer mains of this size, hence, the existing 8" sanitary sewer will need to remain private.
