They were shy on their aggregate depth so pulled forms, dug the area deeper and added 4" of compacted AB3 aggregate. Cross slopes on pre pour were in compliance. The section they had formed, there were approved to pour.

9-16-24 DP. Shane's crew with JK concrete was onsite today and they poured the part of the median deemed for emergency vehicles. They poured it 4" thick and will end up being 2" above finished asphalt. They finished it with white cure. Cure time on this will be 10 days.

The new road has been painted and a stop sign has been installed. It is being opened up today. JK concrete is planning on coming out Monday and will pour the area of the median where the fire trucks and ambulances will be able to cross over. Starting wednesday, the asphalt crew will be able to come and finish patching asphalt. I spoke with Earl and he knows he can start as soon as Wednesday, but didn't know when his schedule will work out but knows it needs to be done ASAP 9-13-24 DP. UPDATE-- The new road was painted this morning with arrows and stop bar. The stop sign has also been installed. They did not paint the crosswalk but the sidewalk hasn’t been installed yet. We will look for the cross walk to be finished when there is a sidewalk. The new road has been opened. I received a call from Susan Berry about some issues with the lane drop and also traffic that is driving eastbound on Colbern turning north onto Rice road though the area that is left out for fire. Mrs. Berry said to block the entrance or install a no left turn sign and Mr. Eden said to leave it open and accessible through the weekend. Redford met me onsite and turned the arrow board off and removed cones which were causing a unnecessary lane drop. They did have a problem installing the no left turn sign since the original plan called for the new road to be opened before closing off the fire truck crossing, which Ryan confirmed. I called Susan Berry back which was out for the weekend so talked to Erin Ralovo. Erin called Michael Park and got confirmation to left the no left turn sign off for the weekend and to leave the fire truck crossing open. On Monday, JK concrete will be onsite to pour the remaining median. Superior Bowen will be in to finish asphalt after Wednesday. 9-18-24 NS Site visited and the crews have put up road signs today. 9-19-24 NS Signs are still up and no work happening today. 9-30-24 NS Site Visited sidewalk crews are working and pouring the sidewalks on the north and south side. I did a inspection on the sidewalks this morning and it appeared that they met city standards to be able to pour. 10-14-24 NS Site visited and crews are putting sidewalk in and will be the second to last that will be done and te crews are waiting on utilities to be moved before they can put the rest of sidewalk and turn lanes in. 11-8-24 NS signs have been put up and curbs have been painted and I am waiting for the stop lights to be put up. 11-21-24 NS Site visited no work being done today and it appears that the traffic lights will be put up next spring 2025 and They are still waiting for utilities to be moved so they can finish up the rest of the sidewalk. 11-25-24 NS Site visited no work being done and still waiting on utilities to be moved to put in sidewalk and turn lane 12-13-24 NS Site Visited and crews have not been working. 12-31-24 NS Site visited it appears no work due to rain. 1-31-25 NS Site visited crews are not working because of rain. We are waiting for the plans to be approved for a driveway to the library. 2-28-25 NS Site visited and it appears trees on the next lot have been removed and crews are getting ready to work on the new driveway.

9-16-24 DP. Shane's crew with JK concrete was onsite today and pouring public sidewalk. They were shy on their aggregate depth so pulled forms, dug the area deeper and added 4" of compacted AB3 aggregate. Cross slopes on pre pour were in compliance. The section they had formed, there were approved to pour. 5-13-25 NS Site visited, and it appears that work on the Heartland has started and I will not give this a pass until all work is done and all sidewalks have been put in.
