Further discussion is needed between the applicant and the City about the proposed closures on 3rd and Green South and East of the intersection. There should be ample room to stage activities in the new Market Plaza and allow these sections of roadway to remain open. Staff understands that previous stagings of the event included the closure of 3rd St and Green St east and south of the intersection, but the availability of the new Green St public space offers the opportunity to further minimize the impact of streets closures on the area street network.
