2011 NEC 501.1 Scope. Article 501 covers the requirements for electrical and electronic equipment and wiring for all voltages in Class I, Division 1 and 2 locations where fire or explosion hazards may exist due to flammable gases or vapors or flammable liquids. Action Required: Compliance with Article 501 for the installation of all electrical wiring, conduit, devices, etc. in a Class I, Division I location will be verified during inspections. This comment is for informational purposes.

Emergency shut off shall be no closer than 20' and no further than 100'. Per phone conversation with Electrical Associates the shut off will be located on the fence and accessible from either side of the fence.

Buildings, rooms and spaces containing hazardous materials shall be identified by hazard warning signs in accordance with Section 2703.5. Post NFPA 704 diamond and all other applicable signage as per the 2012 IFC Chapter 23

  • Submitted documents will be stamped at the conclusion of the review.
    • The stamp will be placed in the upper right hand corner of the document. It is recommeded that this area, to the extent possible, be left blank so that no information is lost when the the stamp is applied.
