Summit Custom Homes intentions are to work on-site with the approved plans including the on-site sanitary sewer main prior to constructing the off-site sanitary sewer main. There are (2) seperate engineers for the systems and minimum slopes for part of the system as well.

There seems to be an issue with MH 1-2. The changes made to the manhole do not seem to allow for an acceptable invert to be installed. The outside drop was to be eliminated. The new flow lines seem to conflict with what was an acceptable solution. Had conversations with Kent Monter, Dawn Bell, and Ryan Elam. Waiting to confirm an acceptable solution.

They spoke to all of the crews working on-site and sub-contractors delivering to the site to minimize any problems in the future of the construction project. He stated they had extra fittings on-site as well. Line 1 will be moved to the east to miss driveway across Hook road to the north for the tie-in to existing 8" water main.

Tom Chandler 10/04/2018 3:03 PM Received complaints on Wednesday 10/3/2018 about dust leaving the site and poor visibilty on Hook road. Contractor was grading and there were extremely high winds in the afternoon. I was testing at another site all day on Wednesday and did not go by this site. I wasn't notified about the issue until Thursday 10/4/2018 mid morning. I talked to Jonathan Myers with ESS about the issue. They have a water truck on-site to minimize any issues. He understood that it is the contractors' responsibility to minimize dust,debris and silt from leaving the site during construction.

I have spoke with Emery Sapp and they were going to come out last week and do some clean-up and erosion control but did not make it out yet. Over the weekend they had more silt coming onto their property , I call Travis Ruf today and he said he would do their best to get a crew out this afternoon before the rain comes.
