Jeremy Young 02/15/2018 11:26 AM Met with the contractor for the driveway inspection. The sub grade has been covered for a week to keep the sub grade warm enough for pouring. It appears there is sufficient rock base and compacted. Informed the contractor to add expansion joint to the curbside. Also checked the distance of driveway to property line which measured 13.5" on the west side of the lot. Will inspect after the pour.

Jeremy Young 02/22/2018 2:47 PM Contractor has poured the driveway for the residence. The expansion joint is in place and it appears the driveway was poured at least 6" thick. The residence will have a sidewalk at a later time. I checked the cross slope for ADA compliance. The cross slope where the sidewalk will go is under 1.5% throughout the driveway.
