Fire detection and alarm systems, fire-extinguishing systems, fire hydrant systems, fire standpipe systems, fire pump systems, private fire service mains and all other fire protection systems and appurtenances thereto shall be subject to acceptance tests as contained in the installation standards and as approved by the fire code official. Progress is slow due to existing service lines in pathway. 01/05/23 Thursday JMJ ( SDI ) Talked with Supervisor & Lee’s Summit Water representative and was told to have contractor test sewer sanitary line mandrel, pressure test, and vacuum test. Contractor is schedule to pour invert for MH A2 , collar was already pour around 12/29/22 with MH A1. Contractor will connect to 6” DIP service lateral as per plan. MH A2 to A3 will be mandrel after installation. Approximately 70’ of 8” PVC 26-SDR, 8”X6”wye, max adapter from 6” DIP & 22.5 deg bend with 4’ to the wye. Testing of sanitary line will occur on Monday of next week. 01/09/23 Monday JMJ (SDI ) Contractor has unearth an issue with possibly an existing live gas main is in the path of the 8” sanitary main that is to be installed. 01/11/23 Wednesday JMJ ( SDI ) Contractor installed storm box A1 yesterday. Nyloplast A2 was this morning A3 & A4 this afternoon. See Storm Sewer Plans & Profile ( C600-C ). Approximately 60’ of 10” HDPE corrugated storm pipe. Serta Tees were installed as-per plan. 01/26/23 Thursday JMJ ( SDI ) Contractor schedule to pour flowable fill in abandon sewer line.

Contractor had to broom parking lot off due to the rains of last night to prepare for asphalt surface coat. CFS is on site to take density test of surface asphalt also see PRCOM20210104. Temperatures ranged from the low 70's to the mid 70's

07/08/23 Saturday JMJ ( Musselman & Hall ) Contractor is planning to complete type 3-01RC surface layer on the Robotics & Building "B" Gym parking lot and possibly the Student Drop-Off Drive Area @ the SW side Lee's Summit School. Contractor had to broom parking lot off due to the rains of last night to prepare for asphalt surface coat Temperature ranged from the low to the mid 70's. Contractor laid approximately 426 tons of type 3-01RC asphalt between the Robotics & Building "B" Gym parking locations. Inspector will check the near the entrance of Building "B" Gym parking lot to see if the is suitable for a base pavement on 07/10/23 Monday. Contractor will continue working in other locations that require pavement. Third party tester was CFS all areas passed, but rear parking and driveway area of Building "B" Gym were on the lower spectrum of passing.

Contractor had to broom parking lot off due to the rains of last night to prepare for asphalt surface coat. Temperature ranged from the low to mid 70's. Approximately 426 ton of type 3-01RC asphalt was laid today @ the Robotics & Building "B" Gym parking lot. As-per CFS tester all areas passed, but the rear drive-lane and parking lot area was on the low spectrum of passing. Contractor was unable to complete laying asphalt for parking lot Building "B" Gym because of an area near the entrance was saturated and retaining a puddle of water. This area may have to be reestablish to finish paving the parking lot. Inspector will check area to determine if any additional measure will be required for base pavement to be laid. Contractor plans to moved to other areas on the project that require surface pavement, the first of next week.

07/11/23 Tuesday JMJ (Questec) 3" water main install to the building completed from work done approximately 6 months ago. 3"gate valve to 2' of 3" pipe, 90 deg bend to 3.5' of 3" pipe, 90 deg bend to approximately 10' of 3" pipe (4' outside & 6' inside). A 90 deg bend turn to the inside 3" butter fly valve and flange on the end. All work appears to be acceptable.

12/27/22 Tuesday ( She Digs It SDI ) Contractor installing MH A1 @STA 3+23.74 4’ sanitary sewer doghouse manhole see detail , C790-C. 01/12/23 Thursday ( SDI ) Contract removing abandoned gas main so they can continued the installation of 8” sanitary main. 01/16/23 Monday ( SDI ) Contractor was able to install MH A3@STA 6+34.92 sanitary running newly installed sanitary line. Contractor connected to the existing main with a max adapter also began to install approximately 63’ sewer service line see C700-C. Contractor poured floor of Dog House sanitary as-per project details. 01/17/23 Tuesday JMJ ( SDI ) Contractor installed approximately 53’ of lateral coming form MH A3 & 32’ of the lateral before MH A3. Contractor backfilled excavation.
