Action required: Update code analysis.
-
- Recalculate occupant load at 1 person per 30sf
5/20/19 - Given that occupant load now exceeds 50, all doors must swing in direction of egress. Note: mercantile occupant load calculations are not required to be applied to the gross square footage. Each space can be evaluated separately which may reduce occ load enough to comply as is.
-
5/21/19 - given the hybrid nature of this space we have agreed to allow a maximum posted occupant load of 49. IEBC says that alteration projects must maintain existing egress capacity which we have.
