2012 IFC 906.2 - General requirements. Portable fire extinguishers shall be selected, installed and maintained in accordance with this section and NFPA 10. PROVIDE FIRE EXTINGUISHER ACCORDING TO THE PLANS.

2012 IFC 505.1- Address numbers. New and existing buildings shall have approved address numbers, building numbers or approved building identification placed in a position that is plainly legible and visible from the street or road fronting the property. These numbers shall contrast with their background. In Multi-tenant commercial building where tenants have multiple entrances located on different sides of the building , each door shall be addressed. Address numbers shall be Arabic numerals or alphabet letters. Numbers shall be a minimum of 4 inches (102 mm) high with a minimum stroke width of 0.5 inch (12.7 mm). CONFIRM THAT THERE WILL BE A READBLE NUMERIC ADDRESS OF 521 FROM 2ND STREET. AND ANY SUITE DESIGNATIONS WILL BE POSTED ON ALL DOORS IN THE CORRIDORS LEADING INTO THE SUITE.

SECTION 5306 MEDICAL GAS SYSTEMS: 5306.1 General. Compressed gases at hospitals and similar facilities intended for inhalation or sedation including, but not limited to, analgesia systems for dentistry, podiatry, veterinary and similar uses shall comply with Sections 5306.2 through 5306.4 in addition to other requirements of this chapter. 5306.2 Interior supply location. Medical gases shall be stored in areas dedicated to the storage of such gases without other storage or uses. Where containers of medical gases in quantities greater than the permit amount are located inside buildings, they shall be in a 1-hour exterior room, a 1-hour interior room or a gas cabinet in accordance with Section 5306.2.1, 5306.2.2 or 5306.2.3, respectively. Rooms or areas where medical gases are stored or used in quantities exceeding the maximum allowable quantity per control area as set forth in Section 5003.1 shall be in accordance with the International Building Code for high-hazard Group H occupancies. IF THE ONE HOUR RATED SHAFT IS NOT BUILT THEN THE DUCT CAN BE WRAPPED IN A UL APPROVED 1 HOUR FIRE WRAP PRODUCT. MANUFACTURES SPECS SHALL BE PROVIDED FOR APPROVAL. 5306.4 Medical gas systems. Medical gas systems including, but not limited to, distribution piping, supply manifolds, connections, pressure regulators and relief devices and valves, shall comply with NFPA 99 and the general provisions of this chapter. A] 105.6.8 Compressed gases. An operational permit is required for the storage, use or handling at normal temperature and pressure (NTP) of compressed gases in excess of the amounts listed in Table 105.6.8. OXIDIZERS STORAGE LIMITED TO 504 CUFT NTP IN A STORAGE ROOM, THAT WILL INCLUDE ANY EMPTY OR IDLE CYLINDERS.

2011 NEC 517.13 Grounding of Receptacles and Fixed Electrical Equipment in Patient Care Areas. Wiring in patient care areas shall comply with 517.13(A) and (B). (A) Wiring methods. All branch circuits serving patient care areas shall be provided with an effective ground-fault current path by installation in a metal raceway system, or a cable having a metallic armor or sheath assembly. The metal raceway system, or metallic cable armor, or sheath assembly shall itself qualify as an equipment grounding conductor in accordance with 250.118. (B) Insulated Equipment Grounding Conductor. (1) General. The following shall be directly connected to an insulated copper equipment grounding conductor that is installed with the branch circuit conductors in the wiring methods as provided in 517.13(A). 1.The grounding terminals of all receptacles. 2.Metal Boxes and enclosures containing receptacles. 3.All non-current-carrying conductive surfaces of fixed electrical equipment likely to become energized that are subject to personal contact, operating at over 100 volts. (refer code for exceptions) (2)Sizing. Equipment grounding conductors and equipment bonding jumpers shall be sized in accordance with 250.122. Action required: Comment is for informational purposes. Patient exam room wiring is noted to use HCF conduits. It is assumed that the intent of the HCF wiring and conduits is to meet requirements of code section noted. To be field verified.
