It was noted that metal halide lighting is proposed for the parking lot lighting. The Unified Development Ordinance does not permit metal halide, rather LED lighting is required. A sealed Engineer's Estimate of Probable Construction Costs should accompany your final submittal drawings. The Engineering Plan Review and Inspection Fee is based on this amount, and is calculated at 3% of the total project cost. Please include an itemized estimate for the total project cost, less the actual building, water lines less than 2", trees/shrubs, and lighting. The cost estimate should include, but is not limited to, 1) parking lot construction, 2) curb and gutter, 3) subgrade preparation, 4) grading, 5) sanitary sewer lateral and connection, 6) water lines greater than 2" diameter, 7) public sidewalks and private sidewalks adjacent to public sidewalks (i.e., the paver stone sidewalk discussed in Note 13), 8) commerical entrances, 9) private paver stone construction, and 10) erosion and sediment control. The cost estimate should be broken down according to line item, units, total units, unit cost, and extended cost.
