VACATION OF RIGHT-OF-WAY. The west entrance to this subdivision has a median that is platted as a common area tract under the ownership and maintenance of the HOA. The east entrance to the subdivision has two medians not in common area tracts that appear to be the responsibility of the City. Internal discussions between City departments are taking place as to the desired direction for ownership of said medians. Dependent on the outcome of those discussions, the developer may be required to submit a vacation of right-of-way application so that both ownership and maintenance of said east entrance medians fall under the HOA. Staff will keep you aprised of the outcome.

SIDEWALKS. The sidewslk note on Sheet 1 states that sidewalks shall be constructed at the time the public infrastructure is constructed. Confirm that this is correct, rather than construction of sidewalks along individual lots at the time the individual lots are developed. The City has no objection to construction of the entire sidewalk network at the time of infrastructure construction because it eliminates gaps that exist in the sidewalk network until such time as the entire subdivision is built out.
