Jeremy Young 02/27/2018 3:19 PM Contractor installed 6" C900 pipe for fire line restraint. They also added DIP and covered it wil poly wrap 12 mil and clear as per city specs. They had at least 6" of rock covering the pipe and a tracer wire run into the building and will add water tape 18-24" below the finished grade. The contractor aslo poured the thrust block which was KCMMB 4K mix. The contractor is backfilling the trench.

Jeremy Young 02/27/2018 3:28 PM The contractor installed the Fire Line Restraint inside the building. The contractor ran C900 pipe and tied it to DIP with Mega Lok Fittings. They ran tracer wire and tape over the line. They had 6" rock surrounding the pipe. They poured the thrust block with KCMMB 4K mix and are backfilling now.

Jeremy Young 05/16/2018 10:32 PM John DiMauro and I were on site. We shut the 2 valves and the crew installed the tee for the new water line. They cut the existing DIP and placed the tee. They had the cookie placed into the end of the new connection. The metal fittings are covered in 12 mil poly wrap. They used Mega Lug connections and the bolts were coated. The line was put back into service and flushed for 45 mins per the flush chart. The crew placed rock under the new connection.

Jeremy Young 05/21/2018 10:46 AM Crew hydrostatic tested the 500' section of the new water line the test was ran for 2 hours and there was no drop in pressure. They also chlorinated and was above 25 mg/l.

Jeremy Young 02/27/2018 3:19 PM Contractor installed 6" C900 pipe for fire line restraint. They also added DIP and covered it wil poly wrap 12 mil and clear as per city specs. They had at least 6" of rock covering the pipe and a tracer wire run into the building and will add water tape 18-24" below the finished grade. The contractor aslo poured the thrust block which was KCMMB 4K mix. The contractor is backfilling the trench.
