Approx. 28' of 8" SDR 26 PVC pipe has been installed from MH A-7 towards the west on line A. Approx. 112' of 8" SDR 26 PVC pipe has been installed from MH A-7 towards the north on line 1. The pipe is being bedded in clean rock. A walk behind compactor plate is being used to compact the trench bottom and the top of the bedding rock once the final lift of rock is placed or the pipe. There appeared to be at least 6" of clearance from the outside edge of the pipe to the trench wall. The contractor plans to install the marker tape approx. 2' below final grade. I mentioned to them that the plans show a change in elevation to the tops of MH A-7 and A-6.

I did not notice any stakes marking the service wyes and asked the contractor if the service wyes were being installed. The service wyes were not being installed and he planned to go back and install the service wyes for lots 92 and 102.

Brice Lawson 07/30/2018 8:04 AM On 7/27/18 Redford Construction informed me that they installed 60' of 8" sanitary main into MH-11. It appeared that the main was bedded in clean rock. They were in the process of installing the inverts in MH's 8, 10 and 11. Spencer with KC Testing was on site performing compaction testing on the sanitary main trench backfill. The road crossings that are near MH-10. Spencer let me know that the compaction test results were within specfications.

It does not appear that there is enough ESC measures in place to control erosion in and below the detention basin. I informed Tom C. of this and he is aware and plans to follow up with contractor.

Corrections need to be made to the Storm Sewer Tom Chandler 09/25/2018 2:40 PM Proposed curb inlet 7-3 is directly above an existing sanitary sewer service lateral for lot 82. Sewer lateral was installed as part of the 2nd Plat. Talked with Sue Pyles and she stated it would be acceptable to relocate the service lateral to the south of the proposed curb inlet 7-3. This will provide the clearances needed for the storm and sewer.

  • Recommended naming conventions:
    • Keep filename consistent.
    • Avoid the use of non-friendly filenames. (ex. k9dk38fj3.pdf)
    • Avoid inappropriate language in filenames.
  • Submitted documents will be stamped at the conclusion of the review.
    • The stamp will be placed in the upper right hand corner of the document. It is recommeded that this area, to the extent possible, be left blank so that no information is lost when the the stamp is applied.
