With the construction project on Pryor Road, there is increased traffic being detoured onto Ward Road. I'm not comfortable with the closing of a lane for a run. This will provide delay for vehicles heading southbound and can be a safety concern for runners. I suggest that they look to hold the race completely on school property and the shared use path instead of relying on Ward Road.
