Get in touch with Development Service Engineer -Complete egress door in basement -Drain required at egress door **The 2 items above are related. First, there is no walk-up on the plot plan. This is supposed to be daylight basement; Second, the cut-out of soil exposes the footing to frost damage; Third,all outdoor receptacle is required to be gfci-protected. The gfci also can trip, rendering the pump inactive; therefore, the basement might be subjected to flooding. You must find a solution to this delima. A battery backup for the sump pump is also required in this case
