2018 IFC 907.1.1- Construction documents. Construction documents for fire alarm systems shall be submitted for review and approval prior to system installation. Construction documents shall include, but not be limited to, all of the following: 1. .A floor plan which indicates the use of all rooms. 2. Locations of alarm-initiating and notification appliances. 3. Alarm control and trouble signaling equipment. 4. Annunciation. 5. Power connection. 6. Battery calculations. 7. Installation acceptance testing

2018 IFC 901.5- Installation acceptance testing. Fire detection and alarm systems, fire-extinguishing systems, fire hydrant systems, fire standpipe systems, fire pump systems, private fire service mains and all other fire protection systems and appurtenances thereto shall be subject to acceptance tests as contained in the installation standards and as approved by the fire code official. The fire code official shall be notified before any required acceptance testing. The fire code official shall be notified 48 hours before any required acceptance test.

Lee's Summit Code of Ordinance, Section7-130.10 - Business License. It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in the construction contracting business without first obtaining a business license as required under the applicable provisions of Chapter 28 of the Lee's Summit Code of Ordinances.
Action required: Either a Class A or Class B license is required. Provide the company name of the licensed general contractor and an email address & phone number for the on-site contact which is where inspection reports will be sent.

Emergency power for illumination

2018 IFC 1008.3.1 & 3.2 Emergency power for illumination.
The power supply for means of egress illumination shall normally be
provided by the premises' electrical supply.
In the event of power supply failure, an emergency electrical
system shall automatically illuminate all of the following: 1. Aisles and unenclosed egress stairways in rooms and
spaces that require two or mor means of egress. 2. Corridors, interior exit stairways and ramps and exit passageways in buildings required to have two or more exits.
3. Exterior egress components at other than their levels of exit discharge until exit discharge is accomplished for
buildings required to have two or more exits.
Action Required: If existing emergency lighting is utuilzed, not shown on submitted plans, it will be field tested priot to acceptance.

NEC Article 517.13 Grounding of receptacles patient care
Corrective Action Required
2017 NEC Article 517.13 Grounding of Receptacles and Fixed Electrical Equipment in Patient Care Spaces. Wiring in patient care spaces shall comply with 517.13(A) and (B).
(A) Wiring methods. All branch circuits serving patient care spaces shall be provided with an effective ground-fault current path by installation in a metal raceway system, or a cable having a metallic armor or sheath assembly. The metal raceway system, metallic cable armor, or sheath assembly shall itself qualify as an equipment grounding conductor in accordance with 250.118.
(B) Insulated Equipment Grounding Conductors and Insulated Equipment Bonding Jumpers.
(1) General. The following shall be directly connected to an insulated copper equipment grounding conductor that is clearly identified along its entire length by green insulation and installed with the branch circuit conductors in the wiring methods as provided in 517.13(A).
1. The grounding terminals of all receptacles other than isolated ground receptacles.
2. Metal outlet boxes, metal device boxes, or metal enclosures.
3. All non-current-carrying conductive surfaces of fixed electrical equipment likely to become energized that are subject to personal contact, operating at over 100 volts. (see code for exceptions)
(2) Sizing. Equipment grounding conductors and equipment bonding jumpers shall be sized in accordance with 250.122.
Action required: All circuits in patient care areas shall have redundant ground system. To be field verified.
