Fire Department- Portable fire extiguishers shall be installed in occupancies and locations as set forth in the Uniform Fire Code Standards and as required by the Chief. Extinguishers shall be mounted in a conspicuous place with travel distance between any point in the building and extinguisher not to exceed 75 feet. Extinguishers shall be a minimum of 2A-10BC (5 lb.). (UFC Section 10.505.(a))

Fire Department- Approved numbers or address shall be placed on all new and existing buildings in such a position as to be plainly visible and legible from the street or road fronting the property. Said numbers shall contrast with their background. (UFC Section 10.301.(a))

(UBC Section 702.(c)) Per conversation between Tracy Diester, Jim Eden and Frank Easton, the shopping center storage area shall be seperated from the retail area with a one hour rated wall and door assembly.

When two or more exits from a story are required by Section 3303, exit signs shall be installed at stair enclosure doors, horizontal exits and other required exits from the story. When two or more exits are required from a room or area, exit signs shall be installed at the required exits from the room or area and where otherwise necessary to clearly indicate the direction of egress. 1991 Uniform Building Code Section3314.(a) One sign shall be installed at the front door and one sign shall be installed in the retail area at the cased opening leading to the back door.
