Codes Administration- Provide a complete truss package designed and sealed by an engineer licensed in the State of Missouri. The package shall include the design specifications and details on the design, installation, bracing and fastening of the trusses. Two packages for each building type shall be provided to the Codes Administration Department for approval prior to installation.

Codes Administration- The special inspector shall observe the work assigned for conformance, shall furnish inspection reports to the Codes Administration Department and the engineer or architect of record and shall submit a final signed report stating whether the work requiring special inspection was in conformance with the approved plans and applicable sections of this code. Above ground storage tanks over 100 - gallons water capacity permanently installed, mounted or affixed and used for the storage of Class I, II, or III-A liquids shall bear a label or placard identifying the material therin in accordance with U.F.C. Standard No. 79-3.

Class I, II, or III-A liquids shall not be dispensed into portable containers unless such container is of an approved material and construction, having a tight closure with screwed or spring cover so designed that the contents can be dispensed into without spilling. Dispensing into portable tanks is prohibited.

Direct burried cable or conduit or other raceways shall be installed to meet the minimum cover requirements of Table 300-5. Direct buried cable shall be listed and approved for underground installation.

Guard post or other means shall be provided to protect the exterior storage tanks from vehicular damage. When guard post are installed, the post shall be:
1. Constructed of steel not less than 4 inches in diameter and concrete filled,
2. Spaced not more than 4 feet between post on center,
3. Set not less than 3 feet deep in a concrete footing of not less than 15 inch diameter,
4. Set with the top of the posts not less than 3 feet above ground, and
5. Located not less than 5 feet from the tank.

Correction
Tanks shall be installed in accordance with article 79, Division V, and shall be installed in special enclosures constructed in accordance with Section 79.902(c) or in listed and approved tank enclosures or materials providing fire protection of not less than 2 hours. The following additional criteria shall apply:
(a) Guard posts or other means shall be provided to protect the area where tanks are installed. The design shall be in accordance with Sec. 80.301(w).
(b) Each tank and each special enclosure shall be surrounded by a clear space of not less than 3 feet to allow for maintenance and inspection.
(c) Conspicuous signs prohibiting simultaneous tank filling and fuel dispensing shall be posted.
(e) Tanks shall be provided with automatic fuel shut off devices capable of stopping the delivery of fuel when the level of the tank reaches 90 percent of tank capacity.

Unsupervised dispensing. When supervision by a qualified attendant is not provided:
A. The owner or operator shall provide and be accountable for:
(i) At least daily visits
(ii) Regular equiptment inspection and maintenance
(iii) Conspicuously posting instructions for safe operation and dispensing equipment, and
(iv) Posting the phone number of the owner/operator
B. A sign shall be posted in a conspicuous location stating:
IN CASE OF FIRE OR SPILL
1. Use emergency pump shutoff!
2. Report the accident!

C. Dispensing eqipment shall comply with the following:
(i) The amount of fuel being dispensed is limited in quantity by a preprogramed card,
(ii) Dispensing devises are programmed or set to limit uniterupted delivery to 25 gallons and require a manual action to resume continued delivery, or
(iii) Product delivery hoses are equipted with a listed emergency breakaway devise designed to retain liquid on both sides of the break away point. Such devices shall be installed and maintained in accordance with the manufacturers instructions, and
D. During hours of operation, the systems site shall be provided with a fire alarm transmitting devise. A telephone not requiring a coin to operate is acceptable.

Correction
A control shall be provided that will allow the pump to operate only when a dispensing nozzle is removed from its bracket or normal position with respect to the dispensing unit and the switch on the dispensing unit is manually activated. This control shall also stop the pump when all nozzles have been returned, either to their brackets or to the normal nondispensing position. Electrical conditions shall also comply with the following:
1. A clearly labeled, manually operated pump master switch shall be provided in an approved location within 75 feet of, but not nearer than 15 feet to, any dispenser. Where such master switch is not visable from all dispensers, the location therof shall be indicated by approved signs,
2. Signs identifying the pump master switch shall be labeled EMERGENCY PUMP SHUTOFF, and
3. The master switch on all individual pump circuits switches shall be set in the "off" position before closing the motor vehicle fuel-dispensing station for buisness at any time.
