Codes Administration - 2003 IBC 412.2.1 - Exterior walls. Exterior walls locatd less than 30 feet from property lines, lot lines or a public way shall have a fire-resistance rating not less than 2 hours.

Codes Adminsitration - 2003 IBC 412.2.3 - Floor surface. Floors shall be graded and drained to prevent water or fuel from remaining on the floor. Floor drains shall discharge through an oil separator to the sewer or to an outside vented sump.

Codes Administration - 2003 IBC 412.2.4 - Heating equipment. Heating equipment shall be placed in another room separated by 2-hour fire-resistance-rated construction. Entrance shall be from the outside or by means of a vestibule providing a two-doorway separation.
Exception 1. Unit heaters suspended at least 10 feet above the upper surface of wings or engine enclosures of the highest aircraft that are permitted to be housed in the hanger and at least 8 feet above the floor in shops, offices and other sections of the hangar communicating with storage or service areas.

Codes Administration - 2003 IBC 412.2.6 - Fire suppression. Aircraft hangars shall be provided with fire suppression as required in NFPA 409.
Exception: Group II hangars as defined in NFPA 409 storing private aircraft without major maintenance or overhaul are exempt from foam suppression requirements.

Fire Department- It is understood that the hangar (Group- III, per NFPA 409) will be used for storage purposes only. Any use other than that, or use as a vehicle or aircraft maintenace facility will require additional fire protection.

CA - The disposal of demolition waste is regulated by the Department of Natural Resources under Chapter 260 RSMO. Such waste, in types and quantities established by the department, shall be taken to a demolition landfill or a sanitary landfill for disposal.

Fire Department; Portable fire extinguishers shall be installed in occupancies and locations as set forth in the IFC Sec. 906 and as required by the Code Offical. Fire extinguishers shall be selected, installed and maintained in accordance with this section and NFPA 10.

CA - LSCO 7-134 - Every permit issued shall become invalid unless the work on the site authorized by such permit is commenced within 180 days after its issuance, or if the work authorized on the site by such permit is suspended or abandoned for a period of 180 days after the time the work is commenced. Permits for exterior work, i.e., walls, fences, decks, patios, patio covers and similar type work requiring permits, as well as permits for residential room additions and remodels shall be limited to 180 days duration. Permits for other new construction shall be limited to one-year duration. The building official official is authorized to grant, in writing, one or more extensions of time, for periods not more than 180 days each.

CA - LSCO 7-162 - It shall be the duty of the holder of the permit or their duly authorized agent to notify the building official when work is ready for inspection. It shall be the duty of the permit holder to provide access to and means for inspection of such work for any inspections that are required by this code. Inspection requests shall be made in advance and in accordance with the most current written policies of the Codes Administration Department.

CA - LSCO7-168 - The building official is authorized to issue a temporary certificate of occupancy before the completion of the entire work covered by the permit, provided that such portion or portions shall be occupied safely. The building official shall set a time period during which the temporary certificate of occupancy is valid.
