Where counters are provided for sales or distribution of goods or services, at least one of each type provided shall be accessible. Where such counters are dispersed throughout the building or facility, accessible counters shall also be dispersed.

1. Accessible parking spaces required by Section 1106.1 except where the total number of parking spaces provided is four or less.

3. Accessbile areas of refuge required by Section 1007.6.
4. Accessible rooms where multiple single-user toilet or bathing rooms are clustered in a single location.
5. Accessible entrances where not all entrances are accessible.
6. Accessible check-out aisles where not all aisles are accessible. The sign, where provided, shall be above the check-out aisle in the same location as the checkout aisle number or type of check-out identification.
7. Unisex toilet and bathing rooms.

Codes Administration - 2003 IBC 1210.1 - Floors. In other than dwelling units, toilet and bathing floors shall have a smooth, hard, nonabsorbent surface that extends upward onto the walls at least 6 inches.

Access to exits shall be marked by readily visible exit signs in cases where the exit or the path of egress travel is not immediately visible to the occupants. Exit sign placement shall be such that no point in an exit access corridor is more than 100 feet or the listed viewing distance for the sign, whichever is less, from the nearest visible exit sign.

CA - LSCO 7-162 - It shall be the duty of the holder of the permit or their duly authorized agent to notify the building official when work is ready for inspection. It shall be the duty of the permit holder to provide access to and means for inspection of such work for any inspections that are required by this code. Inspection requests shall be made in advance and in accordance with the most current written policies of the Codes Administration Department.
