Codes Administration - 2003 IBC 1008.1.1 - Size of doors. The minimum width of each door opening shall be sufficient for the occupant load thereof and shall provide a clear width of not less than 32 inches. Clear openings of doorways with swinging doors shall be measured between the face of the door and the stop, with the door open 90 degrees. Where this section requires a minimum clear width of 32 inches and a door opening includes two door leaves without a mullion, one leaf shall provide a clear opening width of 32 inches. The maximum width of a swinging door leaf shall be 48 inches nominal. Means of egress doors in an occupancy in Group I-2 used for the movement of beds shall provide a clear width not less than 41.5 inches. The height of doors shall not be less than 80 inches.

Where counters are provided for sales or distribution of goods or services, at least one of each type provided shall be accessible. Where such counters are dispersed throughout the building or facility, accessible counters shall also be dispersed.

Accessible parking spaces required by Section 1106.1 except where the total number of parking spaces provided is four or less. 2. Accessible passenger loading zones. 3. Accessbile areas of refuge required by Section 1007.6. 4. Accessible rooms where multiple single-user toilet or bathing rooms are clustered in a single location. 5. The sign, where provided, shall be above the check-out aisle in the same location as the checkout aisle number or type of check-out identification. 7. Unisex toilet and bathing rooms. 8. CA - LSCO 7-134 - Every permit issued shall become invalid unless the work on the site authorized by such permit is commenced within 180 days after its issuance, or if the work authorized on the site by such permit is suspended or abandoned for a period of 180 days after the time the work is commenced. Permits for exterior work, i.e., walls, fences, decks, patios, patio covers and similar type work requiring permits, as well as permits for residential room additions and remodels shall be limited to 180 days duration. Permits for other new construction shall be limited to one-year duration. The building official official is authorized to grant, in writing, one or more extensions of time, for periods not more than 180 days each.

CA - LSCO 7-162 - It shall be the duty of the holder of the permit or their duly authorized agent to notify the building official when work is ready for inspection. It shall be the duty of the permit holder to provide access to and means for inspection of such work for any inspections that are required by this code. Inspection requests shall be made in advance and in accordance with the most current written policies of the Codes Administration Department.

CA - LSCO7-168 - The building official is authorized to issue a temporary certificate of occupancy before the completion of the entire work covered by the permit, provided that such portion or portions shall be occupied safely. The building official shall set a time period during which the temporary certificate of occupancy is valid.
