CA - ANSI A117.1 1998 604.5.1 - Side Wall. Side wall grab bars shall be 42 inches long minimum, 12 inches maximum from the rear wall and extending 54 inches minimum from the rear wall.

CA - 2000 IBC 1209.2 - Walls within 2 feet of urinals and water closets shall have a smooth, hard, nonabsorbent surface, to a height of 4 feet above the floor, and except for structural elements, the materials used in such walls shall be of a type that is not adversely affected by moisture.

CA - 2000 IBC 1003.3.1.6 - Thresholds. Thresholds at doorways shall not exceed 0.75 inch in height for sliding doors serving dwelling units or 0.5 inch for other doors. Raised thresholds and floor level changes greater then 0.25 inch at doorways shall be beveled with a slope not greater than one unit vertical in two units horizontal (50-percent slope).

Permits for exterior work, i.e., walls, fences, decks, patios, patio covers and similar type work requiring permits, as well as permits for residential room additions and remodels shall be limited to 180 days duration. Permits for other new construction shall be limited to one-year duration. The building official official is authorized to grant, in writing, one or more extensions of time, for periods not more than 180 days each.

CA - LSCO 7-162 - It shall be the duty of the holder of the permit or their duly authorized agent to notify the building official when work is ready for inspection. It shall be the duty of the permit holder to provide access to and means for inspection of such work for any inspections that are required by this code. Inspection requests shall be made in advance and in accordance with the most current written policies of the Codes Administration Department.

CA - LSCO7-168 - The building official is authorized to issue a temporary certificate of occupancy before the completion of the entire work covered by the permit, provided that such portion or portions shall be occupied safely. The building official shall set a time period during which the temporary certificate of occupancy is valid.
