CA - ANSI A117.1-1998 404.2.7 - Door Hardware. Handles, pulls, latches, locks, and other operable parts on accessible doors shall have a shape that is easy to grasp with one hand and does not require tight grasping, pinching, or twisting of the wrist to operate. Such hardware shall be 34 inches minimum and 48 inches maximum above the floor or ground. Where sliding doors are in the fully open position, operating hardware shall be exposed and usable from both sides.

Fire Department- The chemical storage rooms shall be designed based on the quantity and type of material stored. Storage shall be in accordance with IFC Chapter 27 and NFPA 45. Provide a list of materials to be stored in the room, provide the quantity, information on method of storage such as liquid storage cabinets, and Material Safety Data Sheets. Make changes or justifications based on quantity and use.

CA - 2000 IPC 803.2 - Neutralizing device required for corrosive wastes. Corrosive liquids, spent acids or other harmful chemicals that destroy or injure a drain, sewer, soil or waste pipe, or create noxious or toxic fumes or interfere with sewage treatment processes, shall not be discharged into the plumbing system withoug being thoroughly diluted, neutralized or treated by passing through an approved dilution or neutralizing device. Such devices shall be automatically provided with a sufficient supply of diluting water or neutralizing medium so as to make the contents noninjurious before discharge into the drainage system. The nature of the corrosive or harmful waste and the method of its treatment or dilution shall be approved prior to installation.

CA - The disposal of demolition waste is regulated by the Department of Natural Resources under Chapter 260 RSMO. Such waste, in types and quantities established by the department, shall be taken to a demolition landfill or a sanitary landfill for disposal.

CA - LSCO 7-134 - Every permit issued shall become invalid unless the work on the site authorized by such permit is commenced within 180 days after its issuance, or if the work authorized on the site by such permit is suspended or abandoned for a period of 180 days after the time the work is commenced. Permits for exterior work, i.e., walls, fences, decks, patios, patio covers and similar type work requiring permits, as well as permits for residential room additions and remodels shall be limited to 180 days duration. Permits for other new construction shall be limited to one-year duration. The building official official is authorized to grant, in writing, one or more extensions of time, for periods not more than 180 days each.

CA - LSCO 7-162 - It shall be the duty of the holder of the permit or their duly authorized agent to notify the building official when work is ready for inspection. It shall be the duty of the permit holder to provide access to and means for inspection of such work for any inspections that are required by this code. Inspection requests shall be made in advance and in accordance with the most current written policies of the Codes Administration Department.

CA - LSCO7-168 - The building official is authorized to issue a temporary certificate of occupancy before the completion of the entire work covered by the permit, provided that such portion or portions shall be occupied safely. The building official shall set a time period during which the temporary certificate of occupancy is valid.
