CA - 2000 IBC 714.2.4 - Doors in exit enclosures. Fire door assemblies in exit enclosures shall have a maximum transmitted temperature end point of not more than 450 degrees F above ambient at the end of 30 minutes of standard fire test exposure.

An exit enclosure shall not be used for any purpose other than means of egress. Vertical exit enclosures shall be constructed as fire barriers in accordance with Section 706.
