Such systems shall be extended, altered or augmented as necessary to maintain and continue protection whenever any building so equipped is altered, remondeled or added to. Fire Department- Portable fire extiguishers shall be installed in occupancies and locations as set forth in the Uniform Fire Code Standards and as required by the Chief. Extinguishers shall be mounted in a conspicuous place with travel distance between any point in the building and extinguisher not to exceed 75 feet.
