Codes Administration- The special inspector shall observe the work assigned for conformance, shall furnish inspection reports to the Codes Administration Department and the engineer or architect of record and shall submit a final signed report stating whether the work requiring special inspection was in conformance with the approved plans and applicable sections of this code. The final report shall be submitted prior to receiving a Certificate of Occupancy. (UBC Section 306.(c))

PLANNING and DEVELOPMENT - All access drives and parking areas shall be constructed with straight-back (Type CG-1) concrete curbing.

PLANNING and DEVELOPMENT - Exterior lighting shall be in accordance with Section Three and Five of the approved Executive Lakes Center "Development Criteria Handbook." Sheet SU1 proposes 4# of 20' high parking light-poles with 400 watts fixtures. In addition, no manufacturer's specification was submitted for the lighting proposed. NOTE: The above described handbook requires pole height of 14 feet maximum (175-400 watts) for lots less than 3 acres. This development is only 1.22 acres. In addition, the approved final site plan proposes the Citation, 14' ht w/400W fixtures and the WHITEWAY Caprice for under-canopy fixtures.

PLANNING and DEVELOPMENT - Sheet A3 proposes 2# of signs on the north (front) elevation. In addition, 3# of "poster cases" (which are considered signs by P&D) are proposed on the north elevation---for a total of 5 signs. The approved elevation showed only one wall sign and no "poster cases." The ordinance allows one (1) sign per business not to exceed 10% of the area of the facade the sign is proposed to be installed. This requirement is not met. NOTE: No detail--drawing and dimensions--of the monument, wall and "coporate button" (on the pump station canopy) signs were submitted for review. All signs proposed for this development are required to be in conformance with Section Four of the approved "Development Criteria Handbook" which contains the "Sign Criteria" for the entire Executive Lakes Center Development.

PLANNING and DEVELOPMENT - The entire gas/pump station canopy does not match the plans approved by the Planning Commission and City Council. Said elevations (pump stations, posts and canopy) must be revised. Submit the cut-sheet for the under-canopy lighting.

Fire Department- A control shall be provided that will allow the pump to operate only when a dispensing nozzle is removed from its bracket or normal position with respecat to the dispensing unit and the switch on the dispensing unit is manually activated. This control shall also stop the pump when all nozzles have been returned, either to their brackets or to the normal nondispensing position. Electrical conditions shall also comply with the following: 1. A clearly labeled, manually operated pump master switch shall be provided in an approved location within 75 feet of, but not nearer than 15 feet to, any dispenser. Where such master switch is not visable from all dispensers, the location therof shall be indicated by approved signs, 2. Signs identifying the pump master switch shall be labeled EMERGENCY PUMP SHUTOFF, and 3. The master switch on all individual pump circuits switches shall be set in the "off" position before closing the motor vehicle fuel-dispensing station for buisness at any time.

Evidence that wiring and equipment are of the type approved for use in the hazardous locations set forth in Table No. 79.905-A and that wiring and equipment have been installed in accordance with the Electrical Code shall be provided. Extension cords and multi-plug extension cords shall not be affixed to structures; extened through walls, ceilings, floors, under doors or floor coverings; or be subject to environmental or physical damage. Fire Department- Dispensing equipment shall comply with one of the following: (i) The amount of fuel being dispensed is limited in quantity by a preprogrammed card, (ii) Dispensing devices are programmed or set to limit uninterrupted fuel delivery to 25 gallons and require a manual action to resume continued delivery, or (iii) Product delivery hoses are equipped with alisted emergency breakaway device designed to retain liquid on both sides of the breakaway point. Such devices shall be installed and maintained in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. (1991 Uniform Fire Code, Section 79.903(f).2.C.)
