(Lee's Summit Code of Ordinances, Section 28-24.) It is the general contractors responsiblity to make sure that all the trades on their project are licensed with the City of Lee's Summit.

Codes Administration- The engineer or architect in responsible charge of the structural design work shall include in the construction documents the special inspections required by UBC section 306 and other structural inspections required by the engineer or architect. (UBC Section 302.(c))

Codes Administration- The special inspector shall observe the work assigned for conformance, shall furnish inspection reports to the Codes Administration Department and the engineer or architect of record and shall submit a final signed report stating whether the work requiring special inspection was in conformance with the approved plans and applicable sections of this code. The final report shall be submitted prior to receiving a Certificate of Occupancy. (UBC Section 306.(c))

Extension cords shall only be utilized with portable appliances while such appliances are in use and shall only supply one portable appliance except for approved multi-plug extension cords. Extension cords shall be grounded when serving grounded appliances. Extension cords and multi-plug extension cords shall not be affixed to structures; extened through walls, ceilings, floors, under doors or floor coverings; or be subject to environmental or physical damage.
