Fire Department- Signage. Stationary aboveground tanks shall be placarded with hazard identification signs as specified in UFC Standard No. 79-3 for the specific material contained. Signs shall be in plain English as a primary language or in symbols allowed by this code. Signs shall be durable.The size, color and lettering shall be in accordance with nationally recognized standards.

Codes Administration- The plans, computations and specifications are required to be prepared by an architect or engineer licensed by the state to practice as such even if not required by state law. (UBC Section 302.(b)) The foundation plan and Misc. structural details sheets are the only two sheets with the engineer or architects seal. All sheets shall be sealed and signed by the design professional.
